A popular Japanese noodle chain founded in 2005 in Tokyo, the restaurant is known for its customizable noodles and distinct yuzu oil-infused broth. It established its first restaurant in the Philippines in 2012 with a branch in Jupiter St., Makati.

“Bacolod is the best place to bring the Mitsuyado Sei-men experience here in Negros where there has always been a thriving dining scene. Bacolodnons and people from nearby provinces can expect the same quality of food and service that our restaurants in Metro Manila have been known for,” said Hubert U. Young, Chief Executive Officer of UCC Ueshima Coffee Philippines, Inc., the company that brought the Japanese chain to the country.

A Japanese Noodle Haven

Mitsuyado Sei-men prides itself for providing the best quality noodles and products in all its restaurants. It only uses the most premium domestic wheat in making its noodles, which are smooth and chewy and has a hint of the premium wheat’s aroma.

All Mitsuyado Sei-men noodles are also completely handmade by dedicated chefs who prepare them at its restaurants.

“Since the noodles are made every day, customers can expect only freshly prepared noodle dishes when they dine at Mitsuyado Bacolod,” Young said.

Another feature that distinguishes Mitsuyado Sei-men from other noodle restaurants is its Yuzu-flavored dipping soup, which is made by boiling vegetables with pork bones to create a well-balanced taste of sweetness and sourness in the broth. This is further enhanced by blending in exclusive seafood savor and dried ingredients, and is finished with Mitsuyado’s signature special Yuzu Oil.

Mitsuyado Sei-men’s regular Tsukemen offerings include the Marutoku Tsukemen, Ajitama Tsukemen, Double Cheese Tsukemen, Charsiu Tsukemen, Yuzu Tsukemen, Vegetable Tsukemen, and Cheese Sauce Tsukemen.

The restaurant’s special Tsukemen selections, meanwhile, include the Karashi Miso Tsukemen, Karashi Tsukemen, Sichuan Tan Tan Tsukemen, and Miso Tsukemen.

How to Enjoy Tsukemen

When placing an order for your Tsukemen, all you have to do is choose the dish you want, its size, and whether you want it hot or cold.

Once your order has been served, dip your noodles into the bowl of thick soup and slurp them. You can ask for vegetable soup or soup wari if you want to lessen the thickness of the broth.

More Ramen Options

Apart from the Tsukemen noodles, Mitsuyado Sei-men also offers an array of savory ramen dishes headlined by the Tokyo Tonkotsu Ramen (pork soup flavor) and Torigara Ramen (chicken soup flavor). The former’s bestsellers include the Tonkotsu Charsiu Ramen and Karashi Tonkotsu Miso Butter Corn Ramen while the latter’s most popular dish is the Torigara Charsiu Ramen.

Mitsuyado Sei-men also has Maze Soba (dry noodles) in its menu, along with sushi rolls selections; side orders of Ebi Tempura, Chicken Karaage, Gyoza, and more; and Donburi and Rice choices.

Mitsuyado Sei-men Bacolod is located at The Pavilions at Nara Residences by Rockwell along GM Cordova Avenue in Mandalagan.
