HELLO! I’m still here, FYI. Honestly, I don’t know how long it’s been since I wrote something personal on MNB (Mea in Bacolod). Since the pandemic, I’ve been focusing on work, taking on more projects, and buckling down to stay afloat. You just don’t know what’s going to happen next so all you can do is prepare for the unknown.
Now that Bacolod is under GCQ (as I am writing this), things feel like they are slowly (emphasis on slowly) going back to normal. Well, the new normal, at least, since everyone is required to wear a mask and observe social distancing.
For me, it’s not just my life here in Bacolod that has changed. The involuntary shift in the way we do things has also forced me to look at how I run my blog and my business, and how I go about my career as a freelance content writer, especially when it comes to:
- Branding
- Content curation
- Content production
- Organization Building
Fancy words, diba? I’ve been having epiphanies, which is why I am changing things up.
I want to thank you for sticking around – yes, all 10,000 plus of you who subscribed to MNB. Expect to see more personal notes, content about online freelancing (mostly UpWork stuff), more updates on Bacolod, and more. I also promise to work on my Instagram account so you guys know what I am up to.
If you haven’t yet, do visit and like my MNB’s Facebook Page: www.facebook.com/meainbacolod/. And, follow me on IG while you’re at it: www.instagram.com/meainbacolod/.
I’m excited about this next step! I hope you can be too. Mea in Bacolod (MNB) is about to begin a new chapter, and thanks for sticking around to witness it.
